For the last several years, I've had the honor of photographing an entire Greek family's... How should I say... Expansion. Bridal showers, baby showers, baptisms, etc., etc.
This is good! And bad. Good because, I've gotten to know most of the family (I think), and have had the pleasure of capturing photographs of every single one of them, forever immortalizing their family legacy. Bad, because I've become so comfortable around them, that I sometimes feel I am there to celebrate the occasion. I am constantly catching myself in conversation for extended periods of time, pigging out on their delicious homemade Greek food, desserts, and drinks. There's nothing like being sent home with a plate full of Baklava.
Below, is quite possibly one of my favorite photographs of Veronica. At least, for now. Being that I have taken photos of her still in her mom's tummy, being baptized, and who knows what's next? Birthday? Haha. Mind you, this is one tiny Greek baby example of about 300 other ones. Ok I'm exaggerating.
