Hammerhead Karoo 2: No Garmin adapter with K-Edge mount
I recently purchased the K-Edge Integrated System Mount and the Hammerhead Karoo 2 for my Canyon Aeroad. I assumed I was going to have to use the backwards-compatible Garmin adapter mount for the Karoo 2, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that the Hammerhead proprietary mount fit perfectly into the cup of the K-Edge.
I am also using the Garmin Varia UT800 front light. The whole setup is incredibly rock solid, I couldn't be happier. Big ups to the Hammerhead team on the design of their mount – ingenious and very, very sturdy.
The only downside is that the screws beneath the mount are not flush with the K-Edge surface, but I can live with it!
